!!!!!!!!!!MY NEW BUS!!!!!!!!!!

Incase you were wondering why I have been missing in action for the last month, it is because I have been madly painting this new little beast.....So, hours of paint fumes and a staggering number of brain cells later, I present to you my latest creation! She still doesn't have a name, and she might even be a he. When my brain cells begin to regenerate I intend to make a nicer page devoted to this little bus, explaining where some of the art comes from, and where it all might be going.  And let it go without saying that this is still just a work in progress - it is just going to get bigger and better as the summer goes on. In the meantime, enjoy the hodge podge collage.  The official debut shall be at the Coney Island Mermaid parade on June 23....stay tuned!

AL-HAM-DO-LI-WHAT-HEE?   It means "thanks be to God".....You see it on all the busses in Senegal.

Here you can see a little more African influence, courtesy of the late, great Kinga Freespirit and her camel, Tika

Thank you kevinnnnn!

A little bit of Ecuador must go with me everywhere....*sigh*

And look! My bus already has friends to play with! We shall joining forces with Piglet and the Rubulad kids for the Mermaid Parade....See ya there!

And I would be remiss if I did not give a nod to my beloved first bus that was such a joy for many years.....sweet Peaches!

She is living the good life down in Atlanta now. Click on the photo to see her story.....
